Club Meeting Schedule
The Midwest Coinshooters and Historical Club meets the third Thursday of each month (except for December). All meetings start at 7:30 PM with doors open by 6:30 PM. Meetings typically last about two hours and include presentations, a business meeting, finds-of-the-month contest, and raffles. Visitors are welcome and there is no obligation to join. The meetings are held at the Tharp (Jennings) Civic Center at 8720 Jennings Station Road, Jennings, Missouri. Following is the meeting schedule for 2010:

Informal group hunt schedule
An informal group hunt is held the Sunday following the monthly meeting. Members and visitors are invited to attend these hunts which are held at nearby parks and other locations. Attendees may arrive as early as they wish and stay as long as they want. These hunts provide a good opportunity for new members and first time hunters to learn about metal detecting from members with more experience. Hunting techniques are demonstrated, types of detectors are compared, and questions will be answered. The informal hunts begin when the weather starts to warm and conditions are more favorable-typically March or April. The locations for each hunt for 2010 has been developed and is provided in the schedule below. Return to this page in the near future to view the hunt locations as we may revise some of them if members request different locations. The dates of the informal hunts for 2010 are as follows:
August 22-Rock Springs Park; Alton, IL
September 12 (a week before the Fall Hunt and meeting)-Chain of Rocks Park; Lookaway Drive (Off Riverview)
September 19 (Annual Fall Hunt)
October 24-Blanchette Park, St. Charles, MO, Randolph Street
November 21-Weather permitting-Spanish Lake Park; Spanish Pond Road off Bellefountaine
